We had a great day on Sunday, with our enthusiastic team coming together with Peter from the charity Eadha Enterprises to plant 200 trees! We met in Glasgow, and travelled together out to Formakin Estate in Renfrewshire. Peter met us here, and shared some of his knowledge and expertise with us. For example, we learned that Scotland is one of the most deforested countries in the world, and only around 1% of Scotland’s native pinewoods remain in place.

We planted 15 species of trees, the majority being Aspen trees, of which Eadha have planted over 1 million since they began. We then enjoyed some hot drinks and snacks, before exploring the grounds of the estate on the Monkey Trail.

We are looking forward to our next session with Eadha already!
