First of all, Outdoors For You welcomes everyone, and our aim is to improve physical and mental wellbeing and to reconnect people and nature. Our Volleyball group is open to all levels of players. As an organisation, we strive to promote an inclusive and relaxing atmosphere, and we need everyone’s collaboration for that to happen.
As we have participants playing at different levels, we divide our volleyball sessions into 3 parts so that everyone can feel welcome and enjoy the game.
The Session Structure with 2 Nets
Part One (approx. 18:15 to 18:45) – Training Session
Practicing and learning new skills. Open to all levels, and we encourage all players to take part in it.
Part Two (approx. 18:45 to 20:45) – Balanced Teams
We create 4 teams made up of mixed level players to play and help each other improve our skills.
Part Three (approx. 20:45 onwards – Two Tier Teams
We create 4 teams. Two at advanced level and two at mixed level. This way we create opportunities for people at each level to take their skills to the next level and to make the most out of the game.
2 teams of advanced level players – Using Net 1
2 teams of mixed level players – Using Net 2
- Do not enter other players’ space to save the ball, it may cause an accident and it is frustrating when someone is denied a chance to practise their skills and take active part in the game.
- Avoid shouting or complaining so that we can play in a relaxed atmosphere. If you have any concerns or ideas, please voice them to Razgar or Mana.
- Wear suitable clothes and shoes.
- Bring water with you.
- Always let us know in the WhatsApp group that you’re coming.
