If you are an asylum seeker or refugee and you like jogging or running, would you like to be part in one of the biggest running events in Glasgow this year? Get in touch and join Outdoors for You at the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow on the 1st of October 2023.
Our aims are to promote healthy lifestyle and encourage everyone in our community to be more active together, especially BAME community, asylum seekers and refugees.
The Great Scottish Run is a celebration of everything that makes Glasgow truly great: inspiring urban architecture, green spaces, history, music, strength, spirit and, of course, great people, personality and humour. Thousands of runners take part each year to challenge themselves and to raise money for good causes.
There are two different distances to choose from 10km or Half Marathon 21km. The courses start at George Square and take you around Glasgow before the finishing line in Glasgow Green.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or if this is first race, we’d love you to join our team either for new experience or to beat you person best. If you would like to help us fundraise for our charity, please let us know.
