On Saturday 13th May 2023 our supporters Andy, Beth, Mimi, Mana, Maria are going to do a 55 miles cycling challenge around the Isle of Arran, to raise money for Outdoors For You’s upcoming project. The project is a 6 days trip for a group of asylum seekers and refugees to the Camas centre on Mull.

Camas is an outdoor activity centre, our aim to provide a unique outdoor experience to our client group to enjoy a week in the natural. Camas is providing an opportunity to experience the nearness of nature and the warmth of community which enables connections to nature, providing us with a space for informal socialising and opportunities to try various outdoor activities, such as abseiling, hiking and kayaking. All factors that are known to have positive outcomes for wellbeing and inclusion.

The cost of the trip will be over £4000 to covers 6 nights’ accommodation, 3 nourishing meals a day, and loads of outdoor activities, such as abseiling and kayaking.
