Cochno Hill – Thursday 30th May

This is a beautiful circular walk around 8.5km, starting from Cochno Hill car park. It is a moderate hill and a mix of forest road, stone paths and rough grassy tracks some of which may be boggy. Passing beautiful landscapes, gorgeous landfelds, rivers and reservoirs and Cochno Loch. You will enjoy spectacular views over Glasgow, on a clear day you may even see Ben Lomond.

Good fitness level required to walk – 8.5km, longer uphill section. Please ensure you have the appropriate fitness and suitability for this activity and wear appropriate clothing depending on the time of year and weather conditions (hiking boots and waterproofs can be provided), bring a bottle water, some light snacks and a packed lunch.

Location: Meeting Point is at the Outdoors For You office (42 Miller Street, G1 1DT) and then travelling by minibus. If you wish to take your own transport, please meet us at Auchnacraig Car Park, Cochno Rd, Clydebank, G81 5QW at 10:30am.
