We enjoyed a beautiful, sun filled day at our Outdoor Wellbeing Hub as we came together to celebrate Nowruz and the start of the spring season. Welcoming over 30 people into the space, the day felt like a true reflection of the Persian New Year which is a time for renewal, connection, and fresh beginnings, marked by longer, lighter days and community events.
It was wonderful to open our space up to lots of new faces, alongside familiar ones, and to celebrate in a place that has been lovingly worked at over the past eight months. Seeing the space now full of life with people gathering, plants sprouting and flowers blooming made the day feel even more special.
We shared tea and snacks, gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and spent time socialising and celebrating. There was also a hands on element to the day, with gardening and planting activities that invited everyone to contribute to the space and connect with nature in a meaningful way.
As the seasons change and everything begins to grow again, we are excited to continue nurturing both the land and the community that surrounds it.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We look forward to many more moments like this as we move through the spring and beyond.
