In Nov 2025, the Outdoors For You founder Razgar Hassan took on the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes in Nepal to raise funds in support of the National Network of Disabled Conflict Victims (NNDCV) in Nepal. https://nndcv.org.np/.
At Outdoors For You, we support communities here in Scotland through nature, movement, and connection. This fundraising challenge was a way to extend those same values globally and to stand alongside another charity doing vital work in very challenging circumstances.
The trek was both physically and mentally demanding, but the purpose behind it made every step meaningful. While in Kathmandu, Razgar had the privilege of meeting members of NNDCV and learning more about their resilience and determination to rebuild their lives after conflict and disability.
Through this challenge, Razgar used his passion for outdoor activity to show solidarity and support a cause that closely aligns with the values of inclusion, wellbeing, and empowerment. Completing the challenge was a proud achievement and a meaningful way to contribute to vital work being carried out on the ground.
We would like to thank everyone who donated and offered support. Your generosity and encouragement helped make this challenge possible. It’s still not too late to support this cause.
