We had a great time at our last indoor climbing session at The Climbing Academy, The Newsroom. It was a great opportunity for those who have been regularly climbing with us to see how their strength and skills have improved! From struggling on the easiest grade of climbs at the start due to fear of heights and uncertain of their strength, to confidently climbing two grades harder and even trying climbs 3 grades harder – everyone has achieved so much. We also welcomed new climbers who are very keen to come back in the New Year as they had so much fun.
We have thoroughly enjoyed each indoor climbing session ran by the awesome TCA instructors and Refugees Rock volunteers. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive – with some people requesting to have climbing sessions every day!!
Collette and Ben (TCA instructor and festive reindeer) also seized the opportunity to show off their new Refugees Rock t-shirts!
