Come and Join us plant trees in Govan!
On Friday 22nd October, Outdoors for You will be joining Glasgow Science Centre and EarthWatch Europe and other community groups to plant a ‘Wee Forest’ in the heart of Govan, Glasgow.
A Wee (or Tiny) Forest is a dense, fast-growing, native woodland about the size of a tennis court. These are not only a good location for wildlife, but for people as well, and can provide a range of benefits in the fight against climate change.
When: 12:45pm Friday 22nd October
Where: Meet at Govan Subway Station, we will then walk to Orkney Street to plant our forest!
What to bring: we will be digging and planting trees, so wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty
We look forward to seeing you there. To book your place, please fill this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc-P7z5RRFVH_gzCVq_PUm1kBuv-vtQ3o4uKxgw2NzGTM7RCg/viewform?usp=pp_url
