Come in and join us for a Mindfulness Walk on Sunday 15th Sep. This walk is especially designed for asylum seekers and refugees who are looking for some quiet time in nature to refresh their body and mind.
We will walk calmly and in silence, paying attention to the present moment rather than past or future thoughts. This gives us a chance to connect with the beautiful nature and be aware of the present moment together with others. It is an opportunity to have some peace and quiet time for ourselves and to be away from the busy city life, news and social media.
This is a free event for Asylum seekers and refugees. We will meet in the city centre of Glasgow and travel together to Pollok Park by using public or hired transport dependant on the group size. The traveling cost will be covered by Outdoors For You.
Meeting Point: Outside main entrance of The Gallery of Modern Art, GOMA, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow G1 3AH
Date and Time: Sunday 15th Sep at 10:00am
Location: Pollok country park
please wear comfortable shoes and clothes for the weather, bottle water and some light snacks.
